Commercial Coffee Machines for Caffeine Comfort

Commercial Coffee Machines for Caffeine Comfort
Coffee is one of those simple, relatively inexpensive pleasures in life that millions enjoy. The types of coffee, coffee bars and coffee-making equipment are as varied as the number of imbibers of this age-old drink. Commercial coffee machines, because of the quality coffee they produce are finding they have a home in other places besides institutional settings.
The typical institutional settings for commercial coffee-makers are offices, restaurants, cafes, cafeterias, hotels, motels and clubs. Consumers now desire them in their own homes, though. While some want the full-blown commercial ones, some opt for scaled down versions of these bigger units. There are regular coffee machines, automatic espresso machines, traditional espresso coffee machines, coffee grinders, plunger and stovetop models and roasters.
Regular commercial coffee machines are able to produce large quantities of coffee while still maintaining quality of taste. They operate using ground coffee or coffee pouches. Some require only a single pre-measured pouch put into place for 56 cups of coffee. Compact models today brew large batches and you can carry them around from table to table for refilling of cups. These commercial coffee machines are no longer the cumbersome monstrosities they once were.
Automatic espresso coffee machines can offer a two-cup preparation option. Today's models can still be large; however, many are compact and suitable for home or in a business setting. They operate quickly and don't make you wait to begin the next batch. Some models of these espresso machines come equipped with fully integrated cleaning and descaling programs. If you do not want to use the grinding option every time, you can find models that have a bypass funnel. These allow you to add pre-ground and flavored coffees for a different taste experience. Automatic espresso machines also have steaming and frothing capabilities and adjustable pouring spouts to accommodate the height of a cup.
Traditional espresso coffee machines normally have built-in cup warmers and a boiler for consistent steam flow. They offer consistent brewing, frothing and steaming functions just like the automatic espresso machines. They require the manual preparation of a cup where the user supervises the whole process from the beginning and chooses when it will end. The machine remains attended to until the entire process is complete and the machine gets the flick of the switch to turn it off.
Modern commercial coffee grinding machines are quieter and faster and produce consistent grinds essential for smooth coffee. When looking for a coffee grinder, consider ones that perform their function quickly. Coffee that is ground quickly is not subject to as much heat. Too much heat degrades a coffee's flavor.
Stovetop commercial coffee machines have a long history. The espresso/coffee ones brew a smooth cup with little fuss. Their unique design has not changed much. That's because they work and there's no need to tamper with a good thing. These models are great for making small batches on the stove and are portable and easily stored. Larger models are available to suit the amount of cups needed per brew, coming in sizes of two to six cups.
Plunger type commercial coffee machines are of the press style. They allow for an even measured pressing of coffee to fully extract the flavor from the fresh grounds. Many of the metal type plunger coffee makers have a double walled steel shell to keep the coffee hot. These models are in restaurants and in the home and come in various cup sizes. Plunger systems are excellent for loose-leaf tea making as well.
If you want the ultimate in coffee freshness when you do your brew, then a home roaster is the best choice. A roaster usually comes with a built-in timer and thermometer. The roasted beans produced, if it's a quality machine, come out even in color. You can program your roasting requirements and flip the switch. Some roasters of commercial quality use varying airflow and constant heat to control the roasting process. Freshly roasted coffee beans that head straight to the coffee grinder, and maker, make coffee at its best.
Commercial coffee machines of varied styles are now as much a part of the home as the office. The high-tech quality of these newer models and their compact design make them stylish appliances for any kitchen. However, the taste test ultimately proves the worth of a commercial coffee machine. Today's superior models are passing that test consistently.
